Blackstone has excellent pizza and a great selection of beers on tap (Mostly small breweries and craft brews you may not have heard of), along with a full bar (that functions as an a pretty popular night spot). My family gets pizza here at least once a month and it's consistently excellent. My favorite is probably the Mediterranean, but all the pizza's we've had there are tasty. (I usually get extra sauce, but I like it a little saucy). I can also vouch for the Veggie, Hawaiian, Tuscan and plain old pepperoni and cheese. Haven't had the rest but I definitely will over time. They also have good wings and the service has always been super friendly.

I really used to like this place, and now I'm a little confused. Before I moved from Iron Mountain, I frequented this place ALL the time. The interior is fun, the food was delicious, and the staff was fantastic! Now, the food is still pretty good, but the staff is horrific. I don't know where they've found one of the wait staff, but it was a mess from the get go. We were basically asked to leave before we had even finished our food. This person was so confused by every little thing we ordered, and then was rude on top of it. It was bizarre. Drinks also have a tendency to be weak. I dunno. I'm not sure if it was a fluke, or if it's just gone downhill. Hopefully the latter.

Over priced for quantity and quality... I do like the nachos though, I just wish my chips were actually in the form of a chip and not a bunch of crumbs from what seemed to be the bottom of the bag. When ordering appetizers you don't get much in an order... kind of stingy when it comes to that. But if you want a casual sit down dinner in a nice atmosphere (they have a bar too!) I say this place is good for that. A lot of variety which I like.

Food is good. Drinks are okay. Beer needs to be colder. Biggest problem is when a band is playing its entirely to loud. I have been there a dozen times and the moment a band starts playing i leave.

Good beer, great pizza--it's always a challenge to decide between Blackstone and Main Street Pizza.

This has to be Iron Mountain's best kept secret. With no sign on the door you will be asking yourself - is this the right place? And with no take out menus to be seen (they do however advertise in the phone book, which is how we found them!) you will wonder - what is the business strategy of this joint? Well, it's definitely amazing pizza and some of the best I've had and I grew up in Chicago! My uncle has lived in Iron Mt. his whole life and never been here - well, he was impressed. It felt good to come all the way from California and teach him about BBQ Chicken pizza, which Blackstone has and it's fabulous. My mother who moved to the area recently was so impressed she's convinced she'll be ordering a pizza at least once a week! And they deliver!

Here I am practically a local, and I finally made it to this place. It took a gift certificate, but next time I will be coming without that incentive. Their pizza is excellent - my gf and I got a large Mediterranean style with a hand tossed crust - which was quite good. We shared a salad and a few tap beers which were also tasty. The service staff is decent although our waiter was a bit slow on fetching me another beer...

The garlic bites were so good with just the right amount if garlic. Then we had pepperoni pizza that oozed with cheesy goodness and the crust was thick and tasty. A great meal.

This place deserves a much better rating that it has been given. The food was delicious and the quantity was immense. 25 bucks for delicious 10 wings, a plate of cheesesticks and a large pizza with as many toppings as you like. It doesn't get better than this. I highly recommend this place. The wings are great, btw. Have the roasted garlic bbq and chilli lime wings!

Love the atmosphere here, but like someone said already, the service is SLOW. We went for my birthday last year (I'm not big on pizza, but the garlic bites and deep-fried pickles are to DIE for) and got held up at the restaurant so long we actually missed the movie we were planning to go to afterwards. Waited at least fifteen minutes just to get a member of wait staff to come take our order. It's a great restaurant if you've got all evening (not exaggerating) to sit around, or if you go during the day when the high-school part-timers aren't there yet.

Pros: The pizza is decent; I tried the six cheese since they felt the need to put trash on their Hawaiian (green peppers and onions do not a Hawaiian make), and it was good. The sauce could have been a little better, but the flavorful cheeses made up for it. Cons: I asked which crust was better and got a definition of what thin crust and hand-tossed meant, like I was from another planet and had never heard of pizza. When I pressed for which crust was better tasting or complemented my pizza better, I got a blank stare. When I went with thin crust, I was told the machine wasn't working so it wouldn't be true thin crust (maybe I should have left at this point). Worst of all, the meal was slower than Congress. Everything took forever: putting my order in, getting my order, getting a refill on my drink, getting a to go box, paying for my food. The meal should not have taken 65 minutes from seat to check. The waiter was nice and helpful, but looked to be running the place by himself as other staff kept needing him to assist them. Also, when I went up front to pay the bill someone from the kitchen was at the counter and instead of saying that someone else would be with me shortly, he tried to engage in awkward conversation which of course made the wait interminable. If you can't help me, go make some pizzas or fix the thin crust machine for God's sakes.

Best thin crust pizza in town and that's coming from a deep dish lover. Add the Treatment to your pizza, it'll make a big difference. The appetizers are good as well (particularly the smothered waffle fries). Service could be faster but there's a full bar to help occupy your time while you wait.

We just moved here and tonight was my first time ordering from here because we had a free pizza coupon but after the service on the phone I just decided to cancel my order. While attempting to place my order for 1 pizza I had to speak with 2 employees and be put on hold twice. The phone call took 5 minutes and then they said for carry out it would be a 45 minute wait. After I hung up I thought to myself that if ordering was that difficult then I don't even wanna know what the pizza tastes like....lol

Food was good and pretty fast. The crust was awesome on the hand tossed pizza. It was a little weird that on a Saturday night there were only 2 other tables full on the restaurant. My biggest complaint is that for the other ingredients that were on my pizza being so fresh, I wish the pineapples on my Hawaiian pizza were also fresh. Also, eventhough the restaurant is very child friendly they don't have milk available. I don't know if they expect me to give a 2 and 5 year old pop, but even our waitress seemed to be pretty irritated that they didn't have it. My daughters also loved the bright pink bathroom!

Really very fine pizza with interesting and varied toppings. Sort of like a sub-par glass nickel. The atmosphere is nice and we were all plenty full when we left.

The pizza here is really good. I love the Mediterranean pizza. Atmosphere is about as good as you can get in this town.
